A major difficulty in the analysis of air samples is in obtaining the sensitivity necessary to measure the analyte of interest. Many results obtained for the analysis of air samples are less than the limit of quantitation (LOQ). This is particularly true for the analysis of hexavalent chromium (Cr~(+6)in air.
