摘要

Carbonyl compounds are those compounds containing a C chemical bounds O bond. Certain carbonyl compounds play an important role in tropospheric chemistry as precursors of ozone and other oxidants such as peroxyacylinitates and peroxides.~1 Acetone (CH_3COCH)3) is one of the most aboundant carbonyls in the ambinent air, with concentrations ranging from low parts per billion volume (ppbv) in rual areas up to a hundred ppbv in polluted urban air.~2 Acetone is both a primary and secondary atmospheric species~3; it is directly emitted into the atmosphere from mobile sources, industry, and vegetation~4, as well as being formed as an intermediate in the photochemical degradation of hydrocarbons~1. Because acetone may play an active prlay an active role in atmospheric chemistry, it is important to establish an accurate measurement technqiue for this compound.
