摘要

High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) technique is a newly proposed enhanced technique by 3GPP, aimed at implementing reliable and effective high speed wireless data communications. One of the key technologies selected for HSDPA is hybrid ARQ. Different types of HARQ have been proposed for future HSDPA utilizations. In this paper, we concentrate on the performance of Type Ⅰ HARQ with code combining. It is shown that the code combining can provide powerful error correction capability. In addition,the Frame Error Rate(FER) and mean transmission number(MT) for HARQ based on the theoretical analysis is presented and the corresponding simulation results are also given.
