The use of EAF slags as an aggregate in asphalt

In many parts of the world, steel slag is perceived as a waste. It is, in fact, a resource of extremely high quality, which can be used as an aggregate in road construction materials. This paper demonstrates how this has been achieved, highlighting the overall benefits to the steel industry, the road operator and the environment.
