Processing of air cooled slag

摘要

This apper focuses on new developed processing techniques for the slags of iron and steel making processes in Germany. These slag types are in the focus of attention due to the great amount of about 13 million tons per year. Depending on steel making process, the liquid slag can be processed by various technologies to produce a wide range of certified products for road and water-way construction as well as for fertilisers.
