THE POTENTIAL OF FLOW INJECTION TECHNIQUES FOR ON-STREAM PROCESS APPLICATIONS

The purpose of this paper is to acquaint the process engineer and chemist with the potential of using flow injection techniques for process measurements. In most cases, flow injection techniques are used for a direct quantitative analysis, called flow injection analysis; however, flow injection techniques are also used with other instruments, such as with process liquid chromatography, for sample dilution. This paper discusses some of the features of flow injection and flow injection analysis for process use.
