REDUCTION OF THE WATER INTERFERENCE IN THE NEAR INFRARED MEASUREMENT OF ALCOHOLS

摘要

The near infrared photometric measurement of alcohols becomes difficult when significant quantities of water are present in the sample. This paper describes the problem and what was done to provide a reliable measurement of percent levels of ethanol in a solvent mixture containing percent levels of water.
