Abstract: per addresses the use of holographic and computational methods to study coupled vibrations of thin wall channel cantilever beams. Holographic methods employed were time-average hologram interferometry and stroboscopic heterodyne hologram interferometry. The computational method was based on the finite element approach. The use of these methods emphasizes determination of the resonance frequencies and mode shapes as functions of geometry of the channel beams. Comparison of the experimental and computational results shows good correlation.!18
