摘要

Single CdHgTe crystals with diameter of 25 mm have been grown by the traveling heater method within a totating magnetic field (RMF) of 2-6 mT. The experiments have been conducted without seed to minimize the free volume in the ampoule. Some results of the research are described with emphasis on the effect of RMF on radial composition homogeneity. Investigations of optical transmission and electric characteristics of the samples have been carried out as well. direct c 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
