DEVELOPMENT OF A REHABILITATION INSTRUMENT FOR PREVENT CONTRACTURE OF ANKLE

摘要

In this paper proposed the rehabilitation instrument for prevent contracture of ankle which is compact, lightweight and easy to put on and taken off. The instrument was able to be made small and lightweight by using the tendon driven system using a pneumatic balloon as an actuator. The experiments were conducted and it was confirmed that the instrument was able to perform the suitable motion for rehabilitation. Further directions of this study will improve the safety, and preventative effect of contracture.
