Needle-based EMR can reshape cartilage with compelling results. This technique that can theoretically be performed in the head and neck to help correct ear or nose deformities. Platinum needles are relatively low cost and can be easily amenable to such a surgical device. Percutaneous EMR is a minimally invasive technique that provides an alternative to invasive surgery and may change the way surgeons reshape cartilage in the future.
