A Review of Industrialized Rearing system and Technique in China

摘要

The paper introduces the largest closed water recirculation fish factory in China, which was erected in 1992. The fish factory consists of 7 fish-growing workshps, 3 fingerling workshops. with rearing water surface 6 000 m~2 (total indoor water surface 9 400 m~2). It is furnished with equipment for water treatment, orxygen adding, heating with boiler, feed processing and feeding. With higher mechanization the fish factory has produced 660 t of tilapia, common carp, bream, and 150 t of fingerling per year. It means 100kg per squaremeter water surface, which is advanced level in Chinese fish farming.
