Recent studies suggest that typhoons in futureclimate may be more intense and carry heavyprecipitations (e.g., Nayak and Takemi,2019). As a consequence, it may increasevarious socio-economic damages overlandfall region. In our study, we analyzed theprecipitation linked to two very strongTyphoons “Typhoon Nancy (1961)” and“Typhoon Jebi (2018)” in present daysimulation and their response to pseudoglobal warming (PGW) by using AdvancedResearch dynamic solver of WeatherResearch and Forecasting (WRF) model.Attempt is also made to discuss whether if theprecipitation amounts associated withTyphoon Jebi is a future projection of that ofwith Typhoon Nancy under warmerenvironment, because both typhoons madelandfall around same region of Western Japanbut with a difference of 57 years.
