In 2004 the authors discovered crust-derived carbonatite vein in diorite (Photo 1 in Fig. 1) at Xiangbishan, and diorite xenolith in crust-derived carbonatite (Photo 2 in Fig. 1) at Jianshan, and Xiangbishan and Jianshan are both located in Daye iron deposit in Hubei, China, and published part of the results that support the crust-derived carbonatite concept (Geochimica, 2004, 33(6): 649-662). Here in this paper more results will be presented in support of the existence of crust-derived carbonatite.
