摘要

It is essential to forecast internal overheating in functioning for a PEM Fuel Cell for estimating the real efficiency of the system. So, internal heat and mass transfers have to be determined with a maximum of accuracy. They have particularly to be taken into account in anode and cathode channels. The authors describe an original methodology consisting in creating a model solved by a Finite Differences method describing fluid behaviour in air and hydrogen channels. This model considers evaporation and condensation phenomena, evolution of gas compositions and pressure variations as functions of fluids temperatures. Final model will then be integrated in a more complete thermal nodes network model.
