The most cost effective Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA) solution will be that which provides the highest power density, meets the systems life and cost requirements, and allows maximum simplification of the supporting fuel cell system. With the increasing maturity in MEA development at Gore and increasing sophistication of fuel cell systems designs, in a market that is focused on rapidly achieving commercialization, Gore has developed a portfolio of MEA products optimized for cost effectiveness in specific target applications.
