Small Baseline Subset (SBAS) analysis with stripmaprnSynthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data has been widelyrnapplied to the deformation monitoring of active faults.rnHowever, as the dimension in range direction is small,rnsometimes one stripmap SAR track is unable to coverrnthe whole research area, especially when studying activernfaults striking in the direction of east-west such as AltynrnTagh Fault (ATF) system. This paper presentsrndeformation monitoring results of the west section ofrnATF by using a ScanSAR SBAS processing chain wernproposed. The consistency between SBAS time seriesrnresults and previous geological research results as wellrnas GPS measurements illustrates that our way ofrnScanSAR SBAS processing is effective. This research isrnthe first assessment of SBAS analysis in non-urban arearnbased on spaceborne ScanSAR data, demonstrating thatrnSBAS analysis with ScanSAR data could deriverndeformation information from large active faultsrnsimultaneously without coverage dropping.
