摘要

Buried archaeological sites are destroyed during data recovery as part of the excavation process and, once destroyed, they can never be replaced. The same holds true for structures that are deemed to be historically important through their association with pioneering nuclear history but that are demolished or otherwise permanently removed during the process of environmental cleanup.
