A new method of calculating elastic impedance

摘要

Elastic impedance (EI), a method of combining the conventional acoustic impedance (AI) and the AVO techniques, is utilizing the far-offset incident angle stacking data to perform the inverse wave impedance. After analyzing the currently available calculation methods of elastic impedance, I proposed a new method and illustrated its effect with the typical formation model in this article.
