Seismic reflection feature of glutenite segment in abrupt slope zone of rift-subsidence lake basin—A case in Dongying Sag

Based on exploration practice in Dongying Sag in decades of years, utilizing practical seismic data integrating with seismic modeling technology, the seismic features, including seismic faces and attributes, of various types of glutenite fans in abrupt slope zone are studied and summarized. Some examples are given to illustrate the role of seismic feature to identification and description of abrupt slope zone glutenite. The work is important in guiding the exploration of glutenite fan reservoir.
