The character of sawdust gasified tar was different from corncob gasified tar. The temperature intensively affected the relative amount of sawdust gasification tar, the relative amounts of higher molecular weight distributions decreased with the increasing temperature, on the contrary, temperature has little effect on corncob gasification tar profile. Taken together, data from GPC and the GC-MS techniques indicated the elementary compositions of the recovered sawdust and corncob tar, which depended on the nature of the raw biomass, were different. It could conclude the sawdust gasified tar was contributed to lignin secondary reaction, as the PAH yield was monotonic increase in experimental conditions. Otherwise, corncob tar depended on the holocelluose gasification reaction.
