Real time industrial monitoring for safe and reliable operation

摘要

Real time monitoring of polymer injection moulding monitoring for microfluidic devices was carried out by sol-gel composite ultrasonic sensors to demonstrate fabrication process optimisation possibility. Real time ultrasonic monitoring was capable of evaluating the moulded part quality such as surface flatness and thickness. This technique enables process optimization and in-process quality assurance of the parts which ensures that the maximum process efficiency with safety assurance.
