The research of a potted experiment ruling uranium availability and uptake by four kinds of vegetables (lettuce, carrot , potatoes , peas) are described. Four kinds of vegetables spiked with the different uranium concentration in the aqueous and different amount of actual mining drainage, to obtain the solid liquid partitioning coefficient(Kd) and the soil-to-plant(TF) to compare the ability and the regularity of transporting uranium. The result showed that the performance of absorbing uranium of different plants differs from the conditions of the concentration of uranium. Compared the uranium concentration in different vegetable edible part, the highest is lettuce leaf, then followed by potatoes: lettuce leaf>potatoes>carrot>peas.
