The water-soluble PSAs were prepared with varying acrylic acid contents and blended with PPG with variation in its contents. With increasing acrylic acid contents in PSA, water-solubility was increased, and also showed good re-pupability. Its increased water-solubility and repupability indicates that if these PSAs do not make sticky problems in paper-making process and also reduce production costs. And PSA performance was also evaluated by probe tack, peel strength and SAFT. With increasing acrylic acid contents in PSAs, probe tack and peel strength were decreased, whereas SAFT was increased. These results are due to PSAs are, as neutralized by KOH, crosslinked by ion. However its behavior changed by increasing PPG contents in PSAs.
