The KEYSTONE that holds it all together and makes it work is ATTITUDE. Even after the monthly safety program is removed, the arch stays in place. The KEYSTONE, which is the ATTITUDE of the workers, holds the arch in place. As long as the ATTITUDE about safety practices is good and proper safety procedures are followed, the arch stays in place and accidents go down. However, remove the KEYSTONE, and the whole program fails! This memorable and effective motivational safety talk points out the consequences of poor safety practices. There are many people depending on the worker to come home after work. If he or she doesn't come home, what happens? Some very sobering thoughts about real life situations are talked about. Ideas are presented about why people change their ATTITUDE. The good part is that the worker has an input about his or her safety by their ATTITUDE. After this program, the worker wants to apply good safety practices 24/7 because they see the value in it for them and their families.
