The preliminary investigations on the nanostructured carbon fiber-polymer composite

Nanostructured carbon materials are potentially of great technological interest in biomedical engineering fields. In this paper, nanostructured carbon fiber was employed into the commercial polyurethane to form a novel composite, the surface chemical composition, thermal behavior, mechanical property and the blood compatibility of the composite were preliminarily investigated and discussed.
