The noise level and noise frequency spectrum are tested in a heavy caterpillar tractor. The main noise source is analyzed and its space distribution in crewman-room is given. The main noise source of crewman-room comes from the noise radiation of diesel and its dynamics stimulating to the bodywork structure. The next one is due to the moving system.
