摘要

Performance tests of concrete of several sets of proportions added fly ash and slag powder were carried out, and the characteristic of hydration of the concrete was analyzed. The concrete only added fly ash can reduce water content remarkably and improve its workability, but the early strength develops slowly. The concrete added only slag powder can improve its strength remarkably, especially the early strength. The concrete added both fly ash and slag powder could not only decrease unit water content and improve its performance but also increase the early strength. The fly ash is not as active as the slag and its pozzolana reaction goes on slowly. Adding both fly ash and slag powder into the concrete, the total area of the pores, the average pore diameter and the total porosity ratio of cement paste are improved and two additives can take their advantages each other.
