摘要

The main geological problem in the Qingshui river section of the Qinghai-Tibet railway is the issue of the plateau, frost heave and thawing sinking of permafrost will cause instability and settlement to the roadbed. In order to ensure the stability of road embankment, EPS thermal insulation material is used in this article, to study the earth temperature and deformation properties of the embankment and roadbed installed EPS thermal insulation materials with different thickness of the upper soil layer. Experimental study shows that scheme of EPS thermal insulation board to protect the permafrost layer in the lower part of the Qinghai-Tibet railway embankment is appropriate and feasible, and in the plateau permafrost embankment, applying EPS thermal insulation material in the laying of embankment is beneficial to reduce frost heave and thawing sinking.
