ZnO varistors are largely used for overvoltage protection of power semiconductor devices.rnLow voltage varistors may have structural non-homogeneities which influences their behavior. Thernpaper presents a theoretical and experimental study about non-homogeneities characterization andrntheir influences about the electric field and power losses in the block of the varistor.
