DELAY AND INTERFERENCE IN INTERCONNECTS

The delay and interference phenomena in integrated circuit interconnects are studied on a standardrnmodel in the RC approximation. The line parameters are evaluated by approximate analytical methodsrnand a finite element numerical method for symmetric geometries and in the presence of processrninduced asymmetric structures.
