Focusing on the defecting phenomenon and its causes, this paper establishes a mechanical calculation modulus of applying or not applying waterproof layer to A.C deck pavement on the basis of analyzing structural deterioration property, and analyzes modulus ratio between C. C. layer and A.C. top layer on bridge deck and the thickness of asphalt surface layer. Also, the paper further analyzes the impact from parameters of the modulus of waterproof layer, the thickness and ratio of bitumen aggregate of different pavement structures on bridge deck and on shear stress existing between the layers The paper attains the changing patterns of shear stress in different layers and material structures. Finally, it establishes the relevant shearing stress testing index, based on laboratory shearing test on the different waterproof materials and bonding materials between different layers.
