摘要

Large-stone mixes structure not only can decrease asphalt quantity and reduce the cost but also have better performance in low and high temperature. The base course applying to heavy traffic load has good service performance. According to our country's present situation, this article suggests that mixes should be designed on the basis of coarse aggregate skeleton with good stone to stone contact and study the grading component as well as the compact method, all which can provide reference to the design of large-stone mixes.
