In modem mining projects, the detection and analysis to the stress of rocks are related in the control to the stability of stope and drift, the prevention of shock bump and the research on the theory of sudden catastrophe of surrounding rocks. Present in the field the detection means are changing from the strain gauge and drilling to a new kind of electrical measurement, such as electromagnetic radiation detection, charge induction detection and electromagnetic fields changes detection. These methods are featured with non-contact detection, easy data processing, computer control and detection net Therefore the technology above is preferred technical scheme in mine pressure, terrane control and mine dynamical disaster detection. However our recognition of mechanics and electric characteristic and law of the rock is still in the primary stage of hypothesis, even some test results could only be used for qualitative analysis. In order to learn the characteristic of the rock well and improve the performance index of the electrical measurement system, An experiment system for researching the characteristic is designed by the author. The systeM is composed of rock load module, sensor unit, data acquisition unit. It can acquire data and process data during the whole process of rock sample broken, charge induction and electromagnetic radiation happening. And also it provides an experimental platform for the study of the characteristics of rocks and the design of the detection equipment for mine disaster.
