The paper chooses the lignite, bituminous coal and anthracite coal to electron paramagnetic resonance after the low temperature oxidation, which indicates that the line breadth of those resonance spectrums narrows down with the increment of the oxidation temperature, and has affiliation with hydrogen content Density of free radical of Oxidized coal increases with the increment of oxidized temperature. The variation of lande g factor isn't obvious along with oxidized temperature, and it reduces with the increment of the content of fixed carbon. At the same time, the paper indicates that oxidizing ability of coal is not lay on the free radicals density of raw coal, but the incremental velocity of free radicals after oxidizing.
