摘要

This paper describes a GIS-based emergency rescue system for coal mine in China. The foundation on which the system was built was the investigation of mass data in DongPang Mine. The system can dynamic display the dangerous sources, working faces, escape and rescue routes, range of disaster influence, distribution of communication equipments and so on. The component that concerned with searching the optimal escape/rescue route in the event of a mine disaster will be discussed in detail. The systeM realizes the requirement of visualization and provides powerful technical support for rescue operations in a coalmine.
