In order to utilize abundant discharged gas in coal mine a new method of using hydrate technology to process and store coal-bed methane was proposed. Temperature and pressure condition of the hydrate formation was confirmed according to the gas composition. Through volumetric specific experiment and isobaric reaction the law of the temperaturepressure condition and the CH4 conversion rate were studied at the initial pressure of 9. 5 MPa in the hydrate formation processes containing the surfactants. The experimental results showed that the hydrate reaction should be maintained the determinate reaction driving force and CH4 can be effectively extracted in the reaction process. But if the reaction gets the highly effective production it should be carried on the multi-stage separation technology of hydrate.
