Slags for dephosphorization of ion and steel

摘要

Thermodynamic data for the slags for dephosphorization of rion and steel are summarized. Although CaF_2 and BaO were found to be effective additiives for dephosphorization of hot metals, their use weould be limited due to environmental requirements. For this reason, a use of simple CaO-SiO_2-FeO slags with relatively lower basicity by enhancing the oxygen partial presure of the slag-metal interface is recommended in industrial operations.
