Fast Density Evolution

摘要

Density evolution for LDPC codes predicts asymp-rntotic performance and serves as a practical design toolrnfor designing top performing structures [1]. Many pa-rnpers advocate the use of exit chart methods and otherrnapproximations, proclaiming that density evolution isrncomputationally too intensive. In this paper we showrnthat this is not the case: we present a highly efficientrnand accurate implementation of density evolution forrnLDPC codes.
