The problem of topology control and routing overrnwireless optical backbone networks is addressed. The input tornthe problem is a potential topology and a traffic profile. Thernconstraints are that of limited interfaces at each node and thernlimited bandwidth of the links, and the objective is of maximizingrnthe throughput. The problem turns out to be NP-Hard, and wernpropose some heuristics based on graph modelling and multicommodityrnflow algorithms to solve the problem.We also enhancernthe heuristics to try and provide fairness to the ingress-egressrnpairs in terms of how much traffic we route for each of them.
