摘要

In this paper, we are using rate-distortion optimized embedded (RED) technology to extract relatively more important and less important bits of different electrocardiograph (ECG) signals, which are protected by different rates of low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes to realize unequal error protected (UEP) performance. The UEP performance will be reflected by comparing experiment results that under different AWGN channel, then observing the distortion of reconstruction signal.
