Small-notch effect in Ti-6Al-4V

In this study,a series of experimental studies was conducted to investigate the fatigue behaviorof Ti-6Al-4V alloy in the high cycle fatigue regime.Specifically,by inspecting the cylindrical specimenswith a circumferential notch of different depths and notch root radii,the small-notch effectwas systematically investigated by conducting the tension-compression fatigue tests (R = ?1).
