摘要

A combined building energy demand for multi-variantly load-shaped energy stocks within the Faculty of Engineering is regressed. Energy audit assessment including performance data collected from Engineering Lecture Theatre (ELT) - one of the energy stocks within the regression scope - is extrapolated. Several load variables including lighting, appliances, occupancy, and thermal demand of the building envelope are captured. Environmental and physiological data are meticulously gathered and simulated using the EnergyPlus tool. The computational tool is characterized with the regression coefficients, fully weighted on the building area, the material thermal absorptivity, and the overall heat transfer coefficient of the constituent energy stocks. This unique analysis enables energy demand aggregation, and provides essential tools for the design and demonstration of alternative sources of energy especially the prospect of converting the solar irradiation on organic wafers to useful power.
